BAT COMPRESSION TEST
Bats may be randomly tested
First offense for bat failing compression test:
The bat is deemed an illegal bat for all league play;
The bat is banned from further use in all league play permanently; and
A warning is issued to player/owner(s) of the bat; and
A warning is issued to the team manager.
A second offense:
If the illegal bat is brought back into play by same player and/or owner(s), the player/owner(s) are subject to suspension from WCASI for the remainder of the calendar year.
Any questions regarding bat restrictions imposed by ASA, please refer to their site www.softball.org.These restrictions apply to all leagues.
THE USE OF EQUIPMENT SUCH AS BATS, BALLS, ETC. MUST MEET ALL THE REQUIREMENTS AND RULES OF WALNUT CREEK ADULT SOFTBALL, INC., & A.S.A AND THAT THE USE OF ANY SUCH EQUIPMENT THAT HAS BEEN ALTERED OR ENHANCED IN ANY MANNER MAY RESULT IN MY EXPULSION FROM PARTICIPATION WITH WCASI AND MAY RESULT IN CIVIL AND/OR CRIMINAL PENALTIES.
